Cole this Saturday at the Kimmel Center at 9 pm.

Clive Davis Department senior Kaleb Rollins serves as PR chair for The Gentlemen of Quality. Enterprising production-management venture Grand Staff (Kaleb co-helms it along with some of his fellow Clive Davis Department students) provides the DJing/hosting. Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music alum and viral video phenom Nyle makes an appearance as one of the opening acts.

Tickets are $7 for NYU students and $10 for non-students. Proceeds go to the Martin Jackson Scholarship: Martin Jackson was a high school student mentored by Gentlemen of Quality; he was murdered by gun violence in 2008.

Buzzworthy Los Angeles band Princeton is releasing their debut record Cocoon of Love this fall on Kanine Records.

The band is managed by 2009 Clive Davis Department alumni Seth Kallen for his company This Side Up Sounds.

Princeton has recently gotten praise from influential blogs such as Pitchfork, Stereogum, and NY Mag, and will be heading out on tour after the release show with acclaimed indie rock band Ra Ra Riot.

Seth and Princeton will be celebrating the release of the record with an album release party at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn on Wednesday Sept 9th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10.
